About Me :
I live to fish, and putting others on fish is what fuels my drive!!!! I am a Florida native, born in Tampa and raised in the Wesley Chapel area. I can fish with anyone from beginner to expert and everyone in between, families are always welcomed on my boat where the atmosphere is conducive to teaching kids, how to fish and care for the environment.
Fishing report :
The fishing is finally really turning on! Reds are chewing, and the surprise is the snook bite is....awesome! Some areas of the bay seem to more affected than others, the south shore of the bay seemed to take a harder hot than the middle bay. The bait is on the flats at last! Recently I have fished , Anclote, Dunedin, New Port Richey, UpperBay , Ft. Desoto and Weedon, all places had great fishing, but different, Anclote and Dunedin had some of the biggest trout I have seen this year, New Port Richey we had snook reds and trout chewing like there was no tomorrow, white bait was the ticket and heavy chumming got them going then just steady chumming. The upper bay was decent too, small reds and sheepshead on shrimp, then as the tide rose we switched to white bait and whacked some nice reds in the last hour of the trip. Ft. DeSoto is showing some good schools of mackerel and they are non stop with schoolie kings in the mix ! There was also a report form Capt. Greg De Vault of hooking a sail in the ship channel on inshore tackle, and got the leader before it cut off! The middle bay has had some off and on good catches of snook and reds, White bait is the ticket everywhere, so spend the time and tides wisely!
